Hi! I'm a student at F.E.C and just love it! I recently took the advanced camp and had the most fun in my life! I want a horse of my own but I'm not sure I'm raedy to take on that huge responsability. I would love to lease a pony but I need to know more about it and what horses are up for lease. The horses are great!!!! So is the Stable the 3 riding rings are filled with all the jumps u can immagine!!! i am so glade that i get to take lessons from here this place is awesome and so are the riding instructors are great they help you with evey thing and they are so NICE!!!!! If u dont know how to do something they will show you how to do it . I love FEC!!!! and the horses!!!!!

At the April 21 horseshow I was champion begginer rider and got three blue ribbons. I had lots of fun. Thanks to Sarah and all the 4-Hers for helping out! The ring looked very pretty.

I have had horse lessons here before. It was really fun! I rode Penny. She is very sweet,loving, and

easy to ride! I was very exited to see Penny`s picture! I would suggest Foothills Equestrian

Center for horse lessons (if you want horse lessons).

When we first came to FEC I had no idea how much our daughter would learn. Lauren has enjoyed every minute with Sarah. It has been a blessing to watch her fulfill a dream of hers since she was three years old. The first time I saw her ride Penny pony I cried. It is an awesome experience to see your child love an animal so much!! And doesn't mind working to get it!! Thank you Dana for your time and patience with ALL of us new comers who have 10 million Questions! I can not wait to see what the future holds for Lauren I believe it will involve a horse of her own one day. Thanks April

Just a note to say how much Foothills Equestrian Center means to us and all the children who ride. As seen in the photos of the October show, Dana, Sarah, Townes and the family at Foothills are all wonderful people. We thank them all for such a nice, safe, friendly place to ride and see our friends.
As parents, it so important to us to know our children are so well taken care of and our children really love foothills, Dana and her horses. Thank you Dana and staff for the best barn and barn family, you mean so much to us all.

Hey everyone! Thanks again for all of the help at the show, everyone and their ponies were wonderful! I am attaching a link from the NCSU Huntseat show, Star is in them (he remembered how to do hunters :-P) As well as Laurie Williams(On a black and white pony), and Anna Rector (On a chestnut pony)who both competed at the show. Laurie got 2nd so congrats to her :-D. 3 rigs filled with precious cargos left FEC in the wee-hours on Sunday morning to Mocksville for the IDA show hosted by NCSU. It was a great show and every single one of our horses was brilliant and surpassed any expectations! We were so proud of all of them and they knew they did great!! The scores are posted in the barn. They won 3 out of 4 divisions!! All the hard work at home paid off!

Our Boots and Breeches 4-Her's worked very hard to get horses and tack ready to go on Saturday. Sunday they groomed, fed, watered, and kept horses warmed up all day long. They worked hard and did a tremendous job!! Keep up your great riding, the exemplarily horsemanship and your excellent teamwork! YOU GUYS ROCK!! The IDA schedule is on the board at the barn – if any of you want to go to one of the shows I’d be happy to take you along!

Many Thanks to Debbie – Debbie scribed ALL the tests and barely had time to lift her head to watch the rides! To Townes for pulling her rig and keeping Mootz ready to go all day long, Becca and Susan for their great support. Thanks to Gregg – for saving our butts!! To all the wonderful horse owners who made their horses available to the program. The big THANK YOU goes to Dana. Dana has been a great and wonderful mentor, supporter and a vital member of the planning- and show committee. YOU ARE AMAZING!!

Love the new pictures from the shows this summer! The PMUs are certainly growing up! Ozzy is doing very well and I've been working him lightly under saddle. I wouldn't be having such success with him if not for Dana's groundwork basics, thanks for the opportunity to own such a wonderful horse!

Hi, Everybody I wish I was In N.C right now and my mom says that we might not come this summer my horse is getting trained for some manners and I have no horses to ride. The only horse I have to ride is Teddy my moms horse or a three year old. I can't wait tell my horse gets back from training.I think
I'll ask my mom If I can train it English, and if I can get an english saddle. Lets hope I'll be able to come this summer. I need a horse to ride! See ya

I am SO HAPPY I found FEC!!  I just moved here from Upstate NY and had to leave my horse.  I was so very sad.  Being able to be around the FEC horses and my instructor Sarah, has helped me be a little less homesick. Lovely site, I see a lot of love in the pictures and pages for both horse and the youth.
A horse I have found out will take your heart and give you his.
Even as a Grandmother, I have found more joy in riding and caring for horses since I had my own babies and now I do again except these have four legs (and listen much better)!!!!!!
You show much Love and care for all your charges---I am very impressed --who would guess at 54 I would be cleaning hooves, washing backsides after a ride on a warm day and mucking stables----God knows I do love it and keeps me in pretty good shape too.
