| In August of 2003 a kind and generous woman, aka our foal angel, offered to give our club a PMU foal from Canada. With the assistance and expertise of farm manager, Hilda Zotter, a suitable foal was chosen from the "leftovers" still looking for a new home (foals from the years crop start being purchased as early as May and ideally all are sold by weaning time Sept 1). The club decided on a well built, attractive bay filly (B-32) by the Anglo-Arab/QH stallion "Son" and out of a QH mare #5. With no white the filly jokingly came to be known as "Plain Jane" (because she is anything but plain!) | ![]() |
| Approaching 6 months of age (born May of 2003) Jane and her friends arrived in NC the end of October 2003 and settled in to their new home at FEC. Our club made arrangements to do certain "chores" in exchange for Jane's board. The club plans when Jane is 2 to give her to a club member. The club promptly took up the first step to making new friends, Bucket Sitting! |
