Pony Pals

Pony Pals is a program intended for children ages 5 and older. Lessons are 30 minutes with a maximum of three children in a group. Extra assistants are provided allowing each child to safely ride his/her own pony. 4 sessions per month $60 |
| The children learn skills such as leading, mounting, steering, two-point position, trotting, and basic cavaletti as well as the names of the pieces of tack and parts of the horse. Skills are taught using games, obstacle courses, and other fun activities. |

Pony Pal students do not groom and saddle/bridle their pony for each class as these can be difficult skills for the younger children. However if the weather does not permit riding, indoor lessons include grooming, leading, saddling/bridling, and basic care of the horse. These skills are introduced in smaller increments that younger children can more easily understand and retain. |
